I just finished watching the HBO miniseries John Adams. It wasn't really the best series that I have ever watched, but it certainly was intriguing. It really made me think more about that time period. What I did really like about it was the relationships between the founding fathers. I did learn a lot about how they interacted. I didn't know that their was such an in depth relationship between Jefferson and Adams. It was very, very cool to learn about that. It was nice to get a feel for what these very important men were like. To often in history books we just learn facts. I liked feeling like I got to know them as individuals.

Because of the series, it has peaked my interest in learning more. That's why I went to Audible to see what kind of selection they had in regards to John Adams. I am pleased to report that there were quite a few to choose from. They ranged from books solely about John Adams, to books about his relationship with his wife, Abigail. I guess they were very close.
