Peyton Manning just broke another record! I have loved Peyton Manning for what seems like forever. I went to a game in San Francisco in 2004-2005 to see him play. He was still on the Colts back then.

I could never have imagined I would still be watching him today, doing such great things, and breaking these kind of records. Quite frankly, when he hurt his neck, no one thought he would be back.

But he is! And the game is better for it. Denver has even been labeled the new America's team. How awesome is that!

What a storied player for a storied game.

I just finished watching the HBO miniseries John Adams. It wasn't really the best series that I have ever watched, but it certainly was intriguing. It really made me think more about that time period. What I did really like about it was the relationships between the founding fathers. I did learn a lot about how they interacted. I didn't know that their was such an in depth relationship between Jefferson and Adams. It was very, very cool to learn about that. It was nice to get a feel for what these very important men were like. To often in history books we just learn facts. I liked feeling like I got to know them as individuals.

Because of the series, it has peaked my interest in learning more. That's why I went to Audible to see what kind of selection they had in regards to John Adams. I am pleased to report that there were quite a few to choose from. They ranged from books solely about John Adams, to books about his relationship with his wife, Abigail. I guess they were very close.
