Mr. Ishiguro has a new book out called The Buried Giant; yet, what I really want to highlight is the fact that this man has written some great novels, which only lends proof that his new novel will be a good one.
Never Let Me Go was made into a movie with Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley, and Carey Muligan, that's how popular it was. The book is about a boarding school that is not all that it seems. Students there are well tended, study arts and literature, but are cut off from the outside world. Why? Because humanity is not what it should be.
This book won the Fiction Alex Award in 2006 and was a National Book Critics Circle Award nominee in 2005. It deserves the accolades. It touches on subjects of justice, the human condition, and love.
