Audible Free Trial I'm not gonna lie. I hated Kate Atkinson's first book, Life After Life. I would have been mad if I wasted my Audible Free Trial on that book.
But that's what I'm here for. This book just seems like a desperate attempt to make money off of her first book's success. That seems slimy to me and I just don't like it. Besides, it's not even a sequel per say, it's premise is it's life told from Teddy's point of view. What the what? Ugh. What I didn't like about the first book was that it was a never ending story that wasn't even enjoyable the first few go-rounds. The first book had no point - it thought it did, but it didn't.
I say use your Audible coupon for a different book. Kate Atkinson, your first book was so terrible that my sister-in-law and I stopped reading together because of your book. I won't waste another bit of my precious life on one of your novels.
